To people wondering why POC’s respond with anger or sarcasm

When you say something stupid it’s because there is a never ending number of you saying stupid things. This is mostly about the firefly post I just reblogged. But here is a list of recent examples I can think of off the top of my head.

When angel coulby was cast as Guinevere 1000000 people threw a fit over historical inaccuracies and POC sent them links showing them how wrong they were

When Idris Elba was cast as Heimindall people freaked out and POC sent them links showing them how wrong they were

When Mad Men couldn’t put a POC on for more than 4 seconds at a time and people claimed it was accurate to the time period, people posted tons of sources showing how wrong that is

When brave came out with not one POC people posted links an wrote damn essays showing them how wrong they are.

Now people are coming up with bullshit about how there were no Asians in a universe that’s supposed to be half dominated by Asian countries because it’s base off old west time.

Like wtf how many times are POC supposed to sit here and be google for people who insist on entering into discussions without doing simple fact checking themselves. Like I can understand why “SJ” blogs are always so quick to jump to anger or sarcasm BECAUSE THIS SHIT IS OLD and it’s fucking 2012 and people still don’t know how to use google.
